About Me

My passion is helping people do the things they love without the worry of pain or injury. Pain and incontinence can cause people to avoid activities, sports, and social situations and take up a lot of mental energy to manage. I empower women to learn about their bodies and feel strong and confident in any activity they choose to do.

After completing my Master’s of Physical Therapy, I was immediately drawn to the area of women’s health and treating the pelvic floor. Although I treat anything from neck pain to foot pain, my special area of expertise is treating pelvic floor dysfunction. This area is especially fascinating because it is often overlooked in the treatment of low back pain, hip pain, and other seemingly unrelated concerns.

I created Rosehip physiotherapy to provide a space where women can learn about how pelvic floor physiotherapy can help them address their concerns. Whether the issue is unwanted leaking, pain with intercourse, or unexplained pain in the pelvic region, physiotherapy can help. Another area where women often do not get the support they need is during the prenatal and postpartum periods. Being a mom myself, I know this first hand.

Women are often confused about how to prepare for birth, what exercises they can do, and how to manage pain that can arise during pregnancy. In the postpartum period, women often experience pain or diastasic recti and are again often unsure on how to safely return to their previous level of activity.
