Musculoskeletal pain
In order to properly address musculoskeletal pain, the underlying cause of the injury needs to be addressed. It is often that the root cause of pain can seem unrelated to the area of pain. For example, low back pain can be the result of anything from stiff and weak hips, collapsed foot arches, or an immobile rib cage. When assessing pain and dysfunction, I examine posture, range of motion, and strength of the entire system to determine the real cause. I then design an individualized program composed of both in clinic techniques and at home exercises to resolve the injury and prevent future recurrence.
